L.A. Lakers

Well, guys I am very sorry but I missed TNL this last Tuesday. The reason I missed though is because Kara True "my best friend" was able to get us tickets to the Los Angeles LAKERS Game!!!!

I have been a basketball fan since I can remember, and in my entire life I have never gone to a proffesional game. She was able to get the tickets for me as a birthday gift. It was so cool! I used to watch the Lakers all the time when they had players like this...

also if you can name these three players I will be greatly impressed "one of them is very easy"

So anyways the game on Tuesday was super cool! The lakers played the Sacremento Kings, who they destroyed. I attached a few pictures from the game!!

oh yea i almost forgot we got a flat tire on the way, it worked out fine though good old AAA.

the give away that night were Laker hats.

I promise though I will be there this Tuesday, so you better be there too!

My weekend off

So, this was my weekend off from working one of the weekend services. Instead of the usual crying at home though I decided to go visit my Brother Nathan and his wife Marie who live in L.A. Kara and I took a day trip up to the enormous city of L.A.

My brother goes to School at UCLA so after seeing their tiny apartment, we all took a tour around the campus. The campus seemed really sophisticated and holy cow there was a lot of brick. Then after that we went to "Didi Reese" which is a little store with a huge line, because they have the best cookies and ice cream sandwiches in the entire world. Next it was time to drive down the famous "Rodeo Dr." where there were all kinds of overpriced stores. It is where all the top designs and fashions sell there stuff to the millionaires.

By now it was time to eat some dinner, this is where things got even more crazy. I ate "Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles". So for dinner you eat waffles with fried chicken on top. It was really actually pretty tasty. As you can imagine after a meal like that we were all pretty tired, so we went back to the apartment and played games, drank tea, and just hung out till it was getting late. Then we headed back to lovely Oceanside.

So that is what I did on my weekend off. But this weekend I will be back in the Jr. High room doing what I love.

Winter Camp!!!

We just got back from Winter Camp yesterday and it was so sweet, I honestly thought it was the best winter camp I have ever gone to as a leader. The snow that was everywhere defiantly helped make my decision.  After we got back to church I went home and took a two hour nap, it was great. 

So, anyways I am trying to figure out what was my favorite part of Winter Camp... and I need your help. I want to hear what you guys thought was the best part, besides hanging out with me.

I'm Back

YEA!!! Guys and Girls I proud to announce I'm back. I have been reading Jesse's blog and it is so cool, and honestly I am pretty jealous. So I decided that I am going to do my best to update my blog at least once a week if not more.

So a quick catch up of the last year or so, ...... actually I changed my mind way too much to say. Instead I am going to start fresh.

Monday

Today is monday. I start my second semester tomorrow, I am a little nervous and I won't lie but I am also a little excited. I changed my picture I hope you all like the new and improved Josh.

I am also very excited to start up my Growth Group tonight. And as far as I know tomorrow is going to be Tuesday and we all have TNL and after TNL I am going to go play some dodgeball. I am really excited for this week the more and more I think about it.

I hope you all enjoy reading about my exciting life.

Next time time I make a blog I will add some pictures from my life, because I know how interesting pictures are.

PS #2- I found a few random pictures enjoy. Wow! number two is me and my girlfreind of 14 months Kara True. and the final picture is an older picture of me running. I ran in Highschool that used to be one of my greatest passions. So if you ever want to talk running I am your man. But no one really ever wants to talk running so nevermind.

It has been a while

Ok! No excuse is a good excuse, BUT the reason it has been so long since I last updated my blog is because everytime I have to do it I must make an entire new account. My winter break was great though. Thanks you for asking. I went snowboarding for my first time a week ago. It was a lot of fun. I was able to stay up for a while, but had some trouble turning to the toe side. Still got about two more weeks till I go back to school so that is nice.

I got a riddle for you all...

If a rooster lays an egg on the top of a roof the roof is exactly 45 degrees and there is no wind blowing at the time. And the house is rested on completely level ground. Then my question is which way does the egg fall???
